Textile and Design

The Sewing Program empowers youths, widows, and vulnerable community members by providing free training in tailoring and sewing. Thanks to donations of eight sewing machines, participants learn to create and sell products, earning an income. After completing their training, they receive a new sewing machine to start their own businesses.

We recruit students through local churches, community leaders, and fieldwork. Many trainees face significant challenges, such as widows caring for grandchildren and orphaned girls who left school due to financial issues or pregnancies. We offer support for them and their children during training.
